Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between your studio ("you") and Scrunchio by MarginWalkers Inc., Clearview Township, Ontario, Canada ("Scrunchio", "we", "us") for using Scrunchio. By starting a trial or a plan you agree to them on behalf of your studio, and you confirm you're allowed to.

1. What Scrunchio is

Scrunchio gives your studio a website, a booking and payments system, a student list, waivers, messages and the tools to run them, on your own domain, for a flat monthly fee.

Three things stay yours, and these terms don't change that:

2. Trial and plan

3. If a payment fails

Your bookings keep working. A failed payment never stops your students booking or coming to class. Stripe tries the card again and we tell you, plainly. If it's still unpaid after 21 days, a person from Scrunchio will contact you before anything changes. We'll only suspend an account after that conversation, and only with 14 days' written notice after it.

4. Cancelling

5. Your responsibilities

You agree not to use Scrunchio to:

6. Your students' information

You're responsible for your students' information. We store and process it only to provide Scrunchio to you, following your instructions in the product and these terms. We don't sell it, market to your students, or put our name in your booking flow.

Safety notes your students give you are sensitive health information. Only your owner, managers and the teacher of a class the student is booked into can read them. Every read is logged. Our staff can't read them.

How we handle personal information, and the providers we use, are in our Privacy Policy and Subprocessors list. If you need a data processing agreement, email privacy@scrunchio.com.

7. Payments from your students

Your students pay you through your own Stripe account. Stripe's terms between you and Stripe govern those payments, refunds, disputes and payouts. You handle refunds and disputes with your students, in your Stripe dashboard. Scrunchio shows you when a payment is refunded or disputed but isn't a party to the payment.

8. Waivers and starter content

Scrunchio includes starter text, such as a sample waiver, to help you get going. It isn't legal advice and hasn't been reviewed for your province or your classes. You're responsible for the waiver and policies you use. Have them checked by a lawyer.

9. Support access

If you ask for help, our support team may open your studio's admin as one of your staff, with your permission, for a limited time. Every support session is recorded and can't reach safety notes.

10. Our responsibilities

We'll:

We don't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may need maintenance time, and things we rely on (internet providers, Stripe, email providers) can fail. We don't promise a specific uptime.

11. Ownership

You own your content and your data. You give us permission to host, copy, display and process it only as needed to provide Scrunchio to you.

We own Scrunchio, its software and design. If you send us suggestions, we can use them without owing you anything.

12. Limits on liability

13. Ending the agreement

You can end it by cancelling (section 4). We can end it:

Either way you'll have 90 days to export your data.
